Stonefields heritage farm wedding

While I don't mind photographing a wedding in intimate spaces, having a big open venue like Stonefields was something special. As an Ottawa wedding photographer, I was really lucky that Kyle and Brianne picked out this place. Rain was imminent, the clouds were rolling in, the sky was getting dark and moody, but it all cleared up right before the ceremony! Phew...the outdoor ceremony is still happening. Kyle and Brianne were surrounded by family and friends, including their dog Stoke, their ring bearer.

The reception took place in the main building, where the chandeliers and wooden interior created a warm fuzzy vibe to the event. In my usual signature style, ambient light was used instead of flash whenever possible, this allowed me to capture the romantic feeling that the couple wanted on their wedding day. It was one of the most emotional, heartwarming weddings that I have ever photographed.
